About Marietta Audio Mastering

Marietta Audio Mastering brings the professionalism of Atlanta out to the 'burbs.

I'm Stephen Carrington, and I have been involved in music production—including audio recording, mixing, and mastering—in the metro Atlanta area since the late 1980s. I've been teaching guitar for years, as well as operating an independent studio since the mid-90's.

I teach guitar most weekday evenings each week, and during the day on weekdays I used to work at Doppler Studios in Midtown Atlanta (that's me in the old Studio E at Doppler on the main page of this site), before they closed for good in June of 2016.

While I was at Doppler, in addition to engineering whenever I was able to, I did scheduling and some other odd jobs; at Marietta Audio Mastering, I am the principle engineer, as well as the assistant engineer. I also maintain the website, and I'll be the one you'll deal with from start to finish. In fact, I'm the only one here...the guy answering your calls and emails is the same person engineering every step of your project, and I take pride in being able to give every client the specialized attention that their project requires.

I'm an expert at mastering audio for release on radio/online, as well as for physical release (not only for CD and vinyl, but also for tape-based formats [cassettes]). I can also help you get your music pressed on many different formats and released out onto an unsuspecting public, as well as assist you with getting it ready for mastering and release in the first place. I'm here to help you succeed, and I'll do what I can at any point along the way...just give me a call or send me an email and we'll discuss the details.
